Elavon: Embracing Community Responsibility
Costco Services’ payment processing provider Elavon
embraces its responsibility to help build and support its
Elavon calls this approach Community Possible and uses
a development network at each location to formally
sponsor charities and to support employees at the local
level to build stronger communities where they live.
Employees are given one paid volunteer day a year,
and after five years of service, two days. The Employee
Matching Gift Program supports employees in their efforts
to improve the community with service and leadership,
and through charitable contributions.
In addition, every September more than 4,300 Elavon
employees have the opportunity to participate in Employee
Ameriprise Auto & Home Insurance:
Supporting Children’s Miracle
For the last 10 years, Ameriprise Auto & Home Insurance
has joined Costco in supporting Children’s Miracle
Network Hospitals (CMN Hospitals). During the month
of May, Ameriprise has donated $5 for each qualified auto
quote provided to Costco members, totaling more than $1
million to date.
Costco has made a commitment to give back
to the communities where it does business.
Like Costco, these four Costco Services
providers encourage their employees to give
back through volunteering and providing
financial support for causes they care about.
“At Costco Services we select service providers
that align with Costco’s mission and code
of ethics,” said Dan Ross, Costco Services
business manager. “A big part of this is
involvement in the communities where we do
business. Our service providers understand this
commitment is not only a key part
of our relationship, but that it’s the right
thing to do as a member of the community.”
